PROMTED MEMORIES
Each work is unique. The central motif: a painted, overpainted, and sprayed serial screen print. Iconic images from advertising, art, and pop culture are removed from their original context, recombined, and placed in unexpected relationships. The familiar appears strange, the habitual ambiguous.
Painted, sprayed, printed—on canvas, by hand. Classical painting meets graffiti and screen printing. Stencils are used, yet each composition remains unique. The canvas becomes a field for experimentation with quotation, technology, and reordering.
This raises the question: What does artistic authorship mean in the digital age? What role does AI play—as an assistant, as a cultural filter, as a co-creator? When algorithms shape ideas, the way we view the work itself also changes.
