In this series of works, Danny Frede combines graffiti, painting, printmaking, and collage into a multi-layered composition. The works are created on canvas stretched over a wooden frame. Direct spraying onto the canvas forms the basis, followed by painterly reworkings and custom-designed, large-format screen-printing stencils. Paper collages add further layers and textures to the motifs.
The series consists of unique, serial pieces. Each work is an independent original, while recurring motifs and design elements lend the series a clear, cohesive character.
